Our Story

Welcome to Shore House Seafood! We are a family owned and operated business bringing gourmet seafood takeout to our favorite Jersey Shore town!  Wildwood, NJ has been our family’s summer vacation spot for generations and our memories are filled with good times from the beach to the boardwalk.  In 1989 our parents purchased their first house in Wildwood Crest to make the dream of summering at the Jersey Shore a reality.  Whether we were playing mini golf at Bedrock in West Wildwood, grabbing sweet treats at Laura’s Fudge, a pasta dinner at Duffy’s on the Lake finished off with a radioball from Chuckles we sure do believe every day is a holiday and every night is a Saturday night here in Wildwood!  And for us, some of our favorite times we had were right at our very own Shore House. You see, the Shore House is the spot to be.  The Shore House is where we connect with friends and family, play cards and board games galore, run around outside until your skin is sun-kissed, let go of the hustle and bustle of day to day life and enjoy the present moment of the waves crashing and seagulls squawking.  The Shore House is a gathering place.  

And what brings people together more than really good food!  Our family sure does have our summer time favorites and we know it’s just a matter of time before Shore House Seafood is one of yours!  We are working in partnership with our family at Star of the Sea Seafood in Berlin, NJ.  Established in 1985, Star of the Sea Seafood has been making gourmet, homemade, award winning seafood available for wholesale and retail.  In the summer of 2000, our co-owner Jess, started working at the Star of the Sea Seafood shop sculpting crab cakes by hand, peeling shrimp, hand dipping coconut shrimp, and learning the ins and outs to ensure delivery of fresh, high quality seafood.  After many years working behind the scenes, we now want to bring our family recipes to your Shore House.  

Whether you want to stop in for a quick snack to bring to the beach…may we suggest the crab balls, they’re great for sharing!  Or perhaps you’d like to cook a seafood meal at home…check out our display cases for all the freshest ingredients you’ll need!  We have food made to order served hot for take away and much more available for you to prepare in the comforts of your own Shore House. Our goal is to provide you with the best quality, local seafood right to your Shore House at affordable prices.  We can’t wait to see you at our Shore House.
